Peaberry

Peaberry has been in the works for a couple of months, and is a real joy.

I bought this bean almost immediately after arriving in my new home in Saskatchewan. I had just run out of Plumbob and was looking to add a third bean to my offering list and lo and behold this beautiful replacement bean came up. It is SO reminiscent of Plumbob and Summer Solstice. It's a very warm, comforting, and welcoming coffee. 

If you liked Plumbob, I think you're going to love this. It has a lot of similar vibes. Im going to describe it as "Grandmas baking". It reminds me of a warm rich sticky toffee cake. It also give me hints of plum and other darker dried fruits. That being said, im trying to get away from tasting notes. So ill describe it like this:

Drinking this coffee brings me back to sitting in my grandmas kitchen eating sticky toffee cake. It gives me the comfort and warmth of spending time with someone dear, while also the rich and beautiful flavour of a tried and true dessert. That being said, it's not too rich, or overwhelming. Its a great way to start or end the day, everyday.

Tasting Notes: Toffee Cake and Dried fruits. Specifically plum, but just know its dang cozy.
